—Hubertus Schmidt

True lightness comes from true understanding. Through softness, not through shortcuts, the horse becomes art.
—Egon von Neindorff
Classical Riding Training is a traditional and systematic approach to training both horse and rider, rooted in centuries of European cavalry and dressage principles. It emphasizes harmony, balance, and the horse’s natural movement—always aiming to develop the horse without force and with long-term soundness in mind.
Classical training is focused on the horse’s well-being and longevity. It avoids artificial headsets, quick fixes, or forced frames sometimes seen in modern sport dressage.
The goal is to correctly develop the horse—not to rush to rack up show records. But when a horse is developed correctly, they also excel in the show ring.

Riding is the art of feeling—of listening to the horse without speaking a word.
—Willi Schultheis
